Once your Joinr account is created and you've authenticated at least one provider, you can access that unified data through Joinr's Google Data Studio Community Connector.
Joinr also provides pre-configured templates that you can utilize and edit as you see fit.
To get started, navigate to app.joinr.com and browse the template gallery. Once you've decided which template you want to use, click "Create Report". This will open the template in a new browser tab. You can then follow the instructions below to create your own report based on the template.
Note: If you haven't created a Joinr account and/or connected at least one data source, do that first > Getting Started with Joinr
Step 1: Add Your Data to the Template
- Click "Use my own data" (at the top right of the screen)
- In the dialog that appears, you'll see two authorization prompts. Follow the on-screen instructions to authorize both.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to authorize the connector
- Choose your "Account" and "View" (There should only be one option for each)
- Click Add
Step 2: Preview & Validate Your Data (Optional)
Once you’ve added data, you can preview it in the template before creating your own report. If you don't see any charts or graphs, click to the other page. If you recognize the account names data in the charts, you have successfully connected your data set. (It's important to note that at this stage, your report has not yet been created—you're still previewing your data in a template.)
Step 3: Create A New Report
When you’re ready to make your own report, click “Edit and Share” (at the top right of the screen).
This will create a new, customizable report based off this template. And since you’re the owner of this report, feel free to edit, adjust and build on it to meet all your data needs. Additionally, once you're done with the instructions, you can delete that page from your report.
