Once you've created a Joinr account, the next step is to connect your desired data providers. "Provider" is what Joinr calls the highest-level data source for a specific integration, which is usually the reporting API used to collect data. Joinr currently supports two data providers—Facebook Ads and Google Ads.
When you connect your data provider to Joinr, you are establishing a connection between the data providers' reporting API and the Joinr system. This allows Joinr to start schedule recurring syncs and keep your data up-to-date.
Joinr automatically fetches the previous 90 days of your data and then continues to sync the data at least daily and as often as every six hours.
Joinr works best when you connect both Facebook Ads and Google Ads. However, you can choose to sync just one single provider if desired. If you choose to connect zero providers, you won't be able to finish the set up process.
Facebook Overview
When you first log in to Joinr, you'll be guided through set up. The first step is to authenticate Facebook Ads. Before authenticating Facebook Ads, make sure you have access to the ad account you want to sync with Joinr. Joinr lets you connect to one Facebook ad account.
If you don't have access to the ad account you want to sync, you can work with your stakeholders to get added to an individual ad account or a business manager account.
Connect Facebook Ads
- On the "Connect Facebook Ads" page, click Connect Facebook Ads
- Follow the on-screen prompts to sign in to your Facebook account
