What Facebook permissions does Joinr need?

Joinr needs access to certain permissions within Facebook in order to provide you with accurate, reliable data. Joinr has view access only to Facebook data and none of the permissions will allow Joinr to edit your accounts in any way. Authenticating a Facebook data provider through Joinr will not notify the owner of the account.

Please note that authenticating any business pages you may own or have access to will require you to log in with your personal credentials. 

Here’s a list of what we need and why:

Manage Ads This permission setting lets Joinr read and manage the Ads account it either owns or has been granted access to. This allows Joinr to sync Ads, Campaigns, Ad Creatives, and related entities. 

Access Your Facebook Ads This permission setting lets Joinr sync your Facebook data for Ad Accounts, Ad Sets, and related entities. This allows Joinr to access the Facebook Ads Insights API to pull report information for Ad Accounts you either own or have been granted access to. Joinr uses this information to provide API access to your ad performance data for dashboards and data analytics.

Manage Your Business This permission setting lets Joinr communicate with the Business Manager API. Joinr uses this permission to sync Business fields and related data.
